How to Fix File is too Large For Destination File System Error


In all pen drive and SD-cards their default file system is set to FAT-32, and the maximum individual file size of the FAT-32 file system is 4 GB. So, when you try to copy files greater than 4 GB, then “file is too large for the destination file system” error occurs.The solution for this problem is simple, you have to just change your pen drive file system from FAT-32 to NTFS file system.

Step 1:
First of all, right click on a pen drive. Then click on “Format”.

Step 2:
Now in format window, you can view that the default file system of pen drive is set to FAT-32. Just change it to “NTFS”.

Step 3:
Now click “Start”.

Step 4:
Click "OK".

On completing format your, pen drive file system will be changed to NTFS-file system, and “file is too large for the destination file system” error will be removed from your pen drive, so now you can copy large files in your pen drive.
