4 Ways to Check Graphics Card Details(Updated)

Your graphics card is what powers your games and high definition videos. If you are having problems running the latest games or watching HD movies, your graphics card may be part of the problem. You can quickly check what you have installed no matter what operating system you are using.

Method 1: Using Control Panel

Step 1:

Open control panel. To open control panel click on start menu icon and search for “Control Panel”.

Step 2:

In control panel, click on “adjust screen resolution”.

OR

If you are using windows 7 then right click on the desktop and select,“screen resolution”.

Step 3:

Now, click on “advanced settings”.

Here you can view graphics card memory and other graphics card details.

Method 2: Using Direct-X Diagnostic Tool

Step 1:

Press the keyboard shortcut “windows + R” and in run window type, “dxdiag” and press enter.

Step 2:

Click on, “Display” tab.

 Here you can view graphics card details.

Method 3: Using Windows System Information Tool

Step 1:

Press keyboard shortcut windows + R and type, “msinfo32” and press enter.

Step 2:

Click on plus sign of components to view components.

Step 3:

Now click on, “Display”

Here you can view all graphics card details.

You can view your graphics card memory in front of "Adapter Ram"

Method 4: Using CPU-Z Software

First of all download CPU-Z from this link and install it on your computer.

Step 1:

Open CPU-Z software

Step 2:

Navigate to, “Graphics” tab.

Here you can find graphics card details.
